Fluorite is a calcium fluoride with a hardness of 4. Fluorite can be found in an array of colours including Yellow, Green, Purple, Blue, Black, White, Pink, Red, Brown and Orange.
In general, Fluorite is a highly protective stone and can be used for grounding and harmonizing spiritually. Fluorite increases intuitive abilities, links us to the universal consciousness and connects us to Spirit when working with our upper Chakras.
Yellow Fluorite is considered the genius stone, the stone of the mind. It is excellent for students as it is used for understanding, intelligence, and logic. It is an excellent stone for use for group work and combined efforts.
Physically, Fluorite is known to strengthen bones and teeth, and lessens pain associated with arthritis.
