TOURMALATED QUARTZ & DRAGONS VEIN AGATE BRACELET

Again we have upcycled antique cutlery to create this wonderful piece which has been adorn with Tourmalated Quartz, Dragons Vein Agate and Stainless Steel beads.

Tourmalated quartz (the larger centre bead) has the properties of both quartz and tourmaline. As with any quartz, this part of the stone will amplify the energies of whatever stone it is with and this case, it has grown with the Tourmaline and amplifies its energy.

Tourmalated Quartz is certainly a grounding one, and it can assist in releasing tension on all levels. This stone helps us to deal with negative thoughts and helps us to turn our negativity into positivity. It contains wonderful energy for problem solving as well as healing.   It is said to be an excellent psychic protection quartz and acts as a shield when worn.

Dragons Vein or Crab Fire Agate is created by heating agate until fractures appear, then enhancing the contrast of the cracks by filling with a permanent surface additive giving it a beautiful veiny effect.

Dragons Vein Agate is associated with creativity and creative visualization.  A perfect choice for students and artists.

It is known as the emotional healer.  As with all agate this stone of is a slow and lower vibrational stone. Sure but steady, its energetic effects will take time to manifest but will have wonderful long term benefits.

Agate is a protective and harmonizing stone which relieves anxiety and stress. It is a stone of balance and strength and it helps us to heal emotionally.  Agate’s energy is also said to strengthen the body as well as to helps us with our connection to the earth (grounding).

Emotionally, agate gives courage, self-confidence, and helps to dispels fears.

PEARL, MOTHER OF PEARL & CRYSTAL BRACELET

We are highlighting an up-cycled or repurposed bracelet made from a fork handle.  Lovely designed handles can be adorned with any type of bead depending on your preferences.  All of our jewellery is commissioned and you have as much input into the style of your creation of you would like.

Today’s creation has been adorned with a centre piece of Mother of Pearl and offset with pearl and crystals.  Mother of Pearl is the inner layer (nacre) of the shell of some oysters, mussels and abalones whereas a pearl is a growth formed within the shell of a pearl oyster or other types of mollusk.

Mother of Pearl is an aid to heighten intuition, psychic sensitivity, and imagination.  It attracts prosperity and good fortune.

Pearls have been traditionally used to assist with sex drive. Pearls enable us to accept love and to see the good within us and within others. Pearls are the jewellery of choice for brides due to their association with partnerships and love.

Crystals are created by various companies such as Swarovski in Austria.  The lead oxide gives these crystals their pure, clear transparency.  These faceted crystals have the energies of glass which brings positive energy, hope, joy and good luck.  Because of the prism effects, it is believed that these crystals draw in the positive and reflect out the negative.  Crystals carry energies of transformation and rebirth.

What a perfect bracelet for a bride.  The stones enhance positive energies for a bride and provide something new and the handles offer up something old.

FINGERS CROSSED PENDANT

Keep your fingers crossed, cross your fingers, here’s to hoping……..Each has a meaning of hope, of wishing.

(Did you know that in early Christianity, you would cross your fingers to invoke the protection of the cross and in pre-Christianity crossing of fingers was used as a way to ward off evil or bad luck when there was a threat.)

We have added a chevron Amethyst to complete this talisman of hope.  Amethyst is used as a talisman of focus, success, courage and wealth.

Metaphysically Amethyst is a stone associated with sincerity and purity.  It is said to offer protection.

There are many higher properties of Amethyst but today we are focusing on luck so keep your fingers crossed.
