As the name suggests, Labradorite was discovered in
Labrador, Canada. It has a hardness of 6 to 6.5. This stone has a wonderful
metallic reflective quality when light hits it specific ways and is known for
its lovely flashes of colour. Labradorite has been associated with or compared
to the aurora borealis. The pieces in our example today reflect wonderful green/blue
flashes.
Labradorite enhances our intuitive and mental abilities as well as our ability
to open up to new ideas. This stone assists with dream recall.
This is the stone of transformation.
Labradorite assists those that use their hands for healing and is associates with the throat chakra.
