RHODONITE (Green also known as Alagite)

Rhodonite is a manganese silicate mineral of variable composition that often contains significant amounts of iron, magnesium, and calcium and has a hardness of 5.5 to 6.5 on the MOHS scale. Rhodonite most common colour is pink but it also can be green.

HOWLITE

Howlite has a hardness of 3.5 and is seldom found in crystal form. Frequently Howlite is dyed (as with today’s highlighted pendant). Unfortunately, many vendors sell dyed Howlite as natural Turquoise. Howlite in its natural form is white with grey to black veins. This piece has been dyed red for pop!

 

Howlite is known to still the mind, relieves stress, and is calming. As a result, it is excellent for sleep. Howlite is said to encourages patience. 

 

This is an attunement stone & is linked to the spiritual dimensions. It is said to opens us to insights & wisdom and is a perfect tool for meditation.

 

Howlite is said to help us become aware of our goals and ambitions, and its energies aid in achieving these goals.

LARVIKITE INFINITY

Larvikite contains a high percentage of the mineral anorthoclase but also contains feldspar which gives it the blue reflective qualities. Larvikite has a hardness of 6 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale.

 

Larvikite is used as a grounding and protective stone which originated from Norway (also known as Black Labradorite or Norwegian Moonstone).

 

It is said to enhance our visions and psychic abilities. Larvikite is used to stimulates the mind and is said to assists us with understanding, spiritual clarity and to open our minds to new ideas without emotional attachment.

Jasper is from the quartz family and its hardness is between 6.5 and 7. 

 

Jasper, in ancient times, was worn by shamans and kings as it is a powerful protection stone and helps to ground.

 

Jasper is known as the supreme nurturer and its energy is slow and continual. Jasper is said to draw strength and vitality and assists us in being loving and compassionate.

 

Jasper is also said to enhance tranquility and helps eliminate stress.

HEMATITE

Hematite is an iron oxide with trace amounts of titanium. It is a myth that Hematite is magnetic on its own. Hematite is only magnetic if it contains enough magnetite to attract it to a magnet.

Hematite is thought to be grounding, enhances expansion and is protective. It is associated with peace and harmony. Hematite is used to harmonize the spirit, mind and body.

It is used to stimulated memory, concentration and focus. It is said to assist with addictions and is used during the inventory stage of the program.

Sodalite is a member of the Feldspathoids mineral group and has a hardness of 5.5 to 6 on the Mohs scale.

 

Sodalite is known as the logic stone as it is said to offer us the ability of obtaining a clear mind and deep thoughts. When our thought process is clear we can communicate clearly and to the point. This makes it an excellent tool for teachers and students. Sodalite is a talisman for writers.

 

Because of its ability to help us think clearly, we can then stabilize our emotions by thinking clearly to reduce stress and to not over respond emotionally.
