TIGER’S EYE & AFRICAN TURQUOISE (Necklace)

Tiger’s eye is a type of quartz (chalcedony) with a hardness of 7 and ranges from golden to red brown. Most tiger’s eye stones are natural; however, some of the more red coloured stones may have been enhanced through dying. Blue Tiger’s Eye is also known as Hawks Eye and is more of a blue gray in colour. There can be other inclusions in Tiger’s Eye such as hematite which will cause colour variations.

African Turquoise is not a true turquoise but is teal Jasper mined in Africa. It has the same structure and colour tones as turquoise and has a hardness of 6.5 to 7. African Turquoise can range in colour from emerald green to teal blue. The word “Turquoise” is derived from French and is translated as “Turkish Stone”. 

Tiger's eye promotes harmony and balance (especially mentally) without interference from emotions. It assists with perceptions, understanding, wisdom and to eliminate illusions. 

If you are seeking direction for your higher self and for greater good, this is the stone of choice. 

Physically, Tiger's eye is associates with bone repair and releasing toxins.

Tiger's eye has been used as a talisman and is said to attract abundance.

African Turquoise is a transformational and evolutionary stone. It assists us in moving forward and being open to new ideas and concepts. It helps us to be open to change, growth and new possibilities. .

ANGELITE (Necklace)

Angelite is a blue/grey variety of Anhydrite and was discovered in Peru in the 1980’s.  Angelite has a hardness of 3 to 3.5 which makes it popular for carving.

Angelite is a higher vibration crystal and is a perfect stone for use in meditation, akashic records, visualization and telepathy, astro travel, etc. It has a connection with our spirit guides and our higher self; thus the name (angelic communications). It enhances our psychic and astrological connections as well.

Angelite’s energies has also been associated with assisting in feeling calm and at ease.  This is an excellent stone when working with anger and fear issues.

ANGELITE NECKLACE

QUARTZ POINT & AGATE GEODE

An Agate Geode looks much like a potato from the outside. Inside the Geode is the beautiful surprise. Simply put, water containing minerals gathers and through pressure and other processes, the minerals and water harden over time to create this beautiful piece of shimmering art. Agate Geode’s hardness is between 6.5 and 7.

Clear Quartz Crystal is a 7 in hardness and is the most common stone found on our planet. Sculptured by nature, no two points are the same.

Agate is a grounding stone that assists in balancing us emotionally, physically and intellectually. Agate harmonizes the positive and the negative. It assists us with self-confidence and concentration. 

The larger piece in this Lariat necklace is a slice of an Agate Geode which has the same healing energies as Agate but a Geode also contains other minerals which enhance the Agate’s energies. Fairy stones, Calcium Carbonate, are approximately 10,000 years old and are 7 to 7.5 in hardness. These stones are found in northern Quebec and Ontario.  Each stone is unique in their design and have been referred to as a Biscuit stones due to their appearance.

Natives of Northern Canada offered Fairy stones as tokens of their love and these stones are thought to be good luck.

Agate has a hardness of 6.5 to 7. It comes in a wide variety of colours and is banded. Agate is a Chalcedony mineral, which is a microcrystalline variety of the Quartz family.

Black Agate which is used in this pendant is a stone said to assist us in dealing with stress. It helps us to remain calm which can provide inner strength and emphasize courage.

As with most black stones and minerals, Black Agate is a grounding tool and is associated with our root chakra.

Quartzite, also known as Snow quartz, has a hardness of 7 and gets its milky opaque colour from microscopic inclusions in the quartz.

Quartzite is said to assist in learning lessons and your emotional responses. It assists in stabilizing and releasing stress.  It enhances our ability to relax and slow down. 

Quartzite is said to give us the vision of a child so that we can see without contamination from learned habits and conditioning.

Quartzite is one of the only stone that should be worn on its own as other crystals and minerals can cancel out its effects.

Snow quartz is considered a feminine stone and is known for its purification and soothing qualities.  Do not wear Quartzite during pregnancy, however.
