We thought it only appropriate to showcase our full moon
pendant after last night’s Virgo Full Moon.
Our full moon is made with a Freshwater Pearl which reflects the light
beautifully.
When an irritant, such as a grain of sand, becomes trapped
in the mollusk, to protect itself, the mollusk secretes substances (as uses to
build its shell) which are secreted in layers and a pearl is formed. A pearl has a hardness of between 2.5 to 4.5.
In Astrology, it is suggested to wear jewellery made of
pearls to assist those born with a misaligned moon as this will help to enhance
love and trust with your spouse or partner.
The Pearl is a symbol of purity, trust and loyalty. It is
not by co-incidence that pearls are usually worn by the bride during wedding
ceremonies.
Pearls are used to assist with sexual drive.
Freshwater pearls enable us to accept love and to see the
good within us and within others. As a
result, they assist in strengthening relationships.
Pearls are linked to our heart chakra.
