Sunstone is part of the feldspar family and it has a hardness of 6 to 6.5.

Sunstone is associated to good luck and good fortune. It is said to empower self-healing and the feeling of self-worth. It is a light inspiring stone. 

Sunstone is a stone of vibrance and stimulates feel good.  This is an ideal stone for inspirational speakers, leadership and independence. 

For centuries, Sunstone has been used for rheumatism and general aches and pains. More recently, Sunstone is also used to metaphysically treat osteoarthritis and cramps.
