PEARL

A pearl is a growth formed within the shell of a pearl oyster or other types of mollusk.   It is one of the most ancient of gemstones.

In Astrology, it is said that we should wear jewellery made of pearls to assist with a misaligned moon (if in your chart). By doing so, it is said that love with be enhanced and trust with spouse or partner will be built.  Pearls have been referred to as the teardrops of the Moon.

Pearls over time have been the birthstone of February, April, June, July and November.

Today, pearls are linked to feminine wisdom, faith, purity, charity and spiritual transformation. It is not by co-incidence that many brides wear pearls.  It should be noted that traditionally pearls have been sued to assist with sex drive.

Freshwater pearls enable us to accept love and to see the good within us and within others.

Specifically, gold coloured pearls are linked to prosperity.

The pearl is the 10th stone in the 12 Sobriety Step Stones (Spiritual Recovery Jewellery).

The pearl is associates with all chakras but specifically the heart chakra.
