ANGELITE, KYANITE AND LABRADORITE

Kyanite (oval shaped beads) has a hardness of 3.5 to 7 depending on whether it is cut on its long axis or not. It is normally blue in colour but can also be green, grey or white. Kyanite’s colour is generally blotchy and streaked.

Angelite (medium round beads) is a blue/grey variety of Anhydrite and was only recently discovered in Peru in the 1980’s. Angelite has a hardness of 3 to 3.5 which makes it popular for carving.

As its name suggests, Labradorite (small round beads and larger drop bead) was discovered in Labrador, Canada. It has a hardness of 6 to 6.5. Clear Crystal Quartz has a hardness of 7 and is the most common stone found on our planet.

The key word for Kyanite could be Balancing, for Angelite the phrase could be Angelic Communications and for Labradorite, transformation.

Kyanite is known to invoke fairness and loyalty. As a result, it is a great choice for repairing relationships, contract negotiations, etc. This is a stone of choice for counselors, mediators and arbitrators. 

Kyanite is known to assist in speaking our truth. Carry Kyanite with you if you are going to be doing any type of public speaking or presentations. Kyanite is a tool used for dream recall, vivid dreaming and channeling.

Angelite is a high vibration crystal and is a perfect stone for use in meditation, akashic records, visualization, telepathy, astro travel, etc. It has a connection with our spirit guides and our higher self. It enhances our psychic and astrological connections as well. Angelite’s energies haVE also be us feel calm and at ease. This is an excellent stone when working with anger and fear issues.

Labradorite has a wonderful metallic reflective quality when light hits it on specific angles and is known for its lovely flashes of colour. The main stone in the centre drop section and each of the smallest beads in this necklace reflects a brilliant blue. Labradorite has been associated with or compared to the aurora borealis. 

Labradorite enhances our intuitive and mental abilities as well as our ability to open up to new ideas. It assists with dream recall. Labradorite also assists those that use their hands for healing.

Kyanite works to balance all of our chakras. Angelite is associated to and works with the throat, third eye and crown chakras. Labradorite is associates with the throat chakra.
