BALTIC AMBER

Baltic Amber is a fossilized tree resin that is used in the same manner as any crystal, mineral or stone in jewellery creation. Baltic Amber’s is a fossilized tree resin with a hardness ranging from 2 to 2.5 on the Mohs scale.

When amber is worn against the skin, the nugget or bead is naturally warmed by our body and the bead releases small amounts of an oil known as succinic acid. The oil is absorbed through the skin into the bloodstream and is noted to boost the immune system and reduce inflammation. This oil is also used as an analgesic for pain. Baltic Amber is said to ease issues with varicose vein and increases blood circulation.

Baltic Amber is also used for teething toddlers.

In ancient times, Baltic Amber was worn by children for their protection.

Metaphysically, Baltic Amber is associated with desire, sensuality and romantic tenderness.

Amber is said to cleanse and purify areas and can simply be placed in a room or made into an elixir.

Amber reactivates the second Chakra and is used to cleanse all chakras.
