Baltic Amber is a fossilized tree resin that is used similar to any crystal, mineral or stone in jewellery creation. Baltic Amber has a hardness ranging from 2 to 2.5 on the Mohs scale.
When amber is worn against the skin, the
nugget or bead is naturally warmed by our body and the bead releases small
amounts of healing oils (succinic acid) which are absorbed through the skin
into the bloodstream. Succinic acid is
known to boost the immune system and reduce inflammation. These oils are also used as an analgesic for
pain. Baltic Amber is noted as assisting with varicose vein and increasing
blood circulation.
Baltic Amber is well known for its healing
