We thought it only appropriate to showcase our new moon tree
of life while experiencing today’s Taurus New Moon. Our new moon is made with a
black Pearl which reflects little light just as our new moon.
When an irritant, such as a grain of sand, becomes trapped
in the mollusk, to protect itself, the mollusk secretes substances (as uses to
build its shell) in layers and a pearl is formed. A pearl has a hardness of between 2.5 to 4.5.
In Astrology, it is suggested to wear jewellery made of
pearls to assist those born with a misaligned moon as this will help to enhance
love and trust with your spouse or partner.
The tree, in part, is a wonderful symbol of how we are all
interconnected. When researching the
history of our families it is not by co-incidence that it is call a “Family
Tree”.
The roots of the tree reach deep. They represent stability, the ability to
nurture and are grounded.
The branches of the tree are far reaching teaching us to
continually expand.
Branches grow in all directions intertwining with each of
the neighbouring trees. This reminds us
that we are to reach out and touch all of those around us.
The leaves are created and released. They teach us not to be attached to material
things for they are fleeting. They also remind
us that all life has cycles and each cycle has its own important purposes.
Pearls are linked to our heart chakra and trees are a mirror
of life itself.
Today take advantage of the new moon cycle. It is a time to plant new seeds in the garden
of life.
