Baltic Amber is a fossilized tree resin that is used similarly to any other crystal, mineral or stone in jewellery creation. 

When amber is worn against the skin, the nugget or bead is naturally warmed by our body temperature and the bead releases small amounts of healing oils (succinic acid). The oils are absorbed through the skin into the bloodstream and boost the immune system, reduce inflammation and are an analgesic used for pain. Baltic Amber also assists with varicose vein and increases blood circulation.
