We are going to finish off the first week of April with the Mystical birthstone for this month which is opal. As stated earlier in the week, the traditional birthstone of April is Diamond. There are many other semi precious stones that represent the month as well as Aries and Taurus. For more details see our earlier posts this week.
We will specifically focus on Pink Opal today which has a
hardness of 6 and is a blend of opal, palygorskite and chalcedony.
Pink Opal is a stone of hope, purity and health. It is the
healer of emotions and is the stone for faithful lovers. This stone enhances
our emotions as well as our spiritual self. Pink Opal assists in keeping us centred and
calm.
Used in meditation and with dreams, Pink Opal helps to
arouse compassion and allow us to release painful memories.
It has even been referred to as the stone of the Gods.
Pink Opal is associated with the heart chakra.
