We entered the sun sign of Virgo on August 22, 2021. Virgo’s sunstones or birthstones include Carnelian, Jade, Jasper, Moss Agate, and Blue Sapphire. Today, we are highlighting Jasper.
Jasper is from the quartz family and has a
hardness of between 6.5 and 7 on the Mohs scale.
Jasper, in ancient times, was worn by
shamans and kings as it is said to be a powerful protection stone and helps to
ground.
Jasper is known as the supreme nurturer and
its energy is slow and continual. Jasper is said to draw strength and vitality
and assists us in being loving and compassionate.
Jasper is said to enhance tranquility and
helps us to eliminate stress.
Jasper in general aligns the chakras.
