Aragonite is a calcium carbonate which is very similar to Calcite. Aragonite can range in colour from colourless to white, brown, grey, yellowy red, pink, orange, purpley green and blue. Aragonite has a hardness of 3.5 to 4 on the mohs scale.
Aragonite is said to reduce anger and
stress and to increases energy, boost self-confidence and feelings of
self-worth. It is known to calm
and centre.
Metaphysically, Aragonite assists with
recall of past lives.
Aragonite is a grounding stone and is renounced
for creating a connection with Mother Earth.
It is associated with the base chakra.
