We continue with our focus on the birthstone or sunstones of Aquarius, including amethyst, garnet, moss agate, opal and sugilite. Jasper is the talisman for Aquarius and turquoise is the planetary stone.
Today we will focus on, Garnet.
Garnet has a hardness of 6.5 to 7.5 and has
been used in jewellery since the Bronze Age (in the third millennium BC)
Garnet is associated with love and passion
and is known as the stone of commitment.
Garnet is said to amplify and draw all of the qualities we are looking
for in a relationship such as trust and devotion. It is used for luck with love.
Garnet’s energies are used in connection
with success and reaching our goals.
Physically, Garnet is said to reduce toxins
in the body and purifies the blood.
Garnet activates and amplifies other
crystals.
This is an intense stone which stimulates
both the crown and the root chakras.
