Now that we are in the sign of Pisces we thought we would
highlight the Pisces birthstones also known as the sunstones which are
aquamarine, amethyst, sapphire, jade, bloodstone and clear quartz. The talisman for Pisces is ruby.
Today we are highlighting Aquamarine which is from the Beryl
family. Aquamarine comes by its lovely greeny
or sea blue colour from iron impurities in the colourless, glassy beryl
crystal. It has a hardness of 7.5 to 8 on the Mohs scale. Aquamarine is also one of the sunstones of
Gemini and the birthstone for the month of March.
Aquamarine helps us to calmly speak our truth and to have
courage. The keyword for Aquamarine is courage. It brings us hope and helps us to experience
peace.
