Sunstone is part of the feldspar family and it has a
hardness of 6 to 6.5.
With New Year’s resolutions in mind, we thought we would
highlight Sunstone, a stone associates with weight loss because of the “ray of
hope” that it provides. It is said that
Sunstone give us that extra little push we may require to keep going.
Sunstone is also associated with good luck and good fortune.
It is said to empower self-healing and the feeling of self-worth. It is a light
inspiring stone.
Sunstone is a stone of vibrancy and stimulates feel
good. This is an ideal stone for
inspirational speakers, leadership and independence (and again pushing us to
stick with our goals).
For centuries, Sunstone has been used for rheumatism and general aches and pains. More recently, Sunstone is also used to metaphysically treat osteoarthritis and cramps.
