Howlite is a cauliflower shaped mineral with a hardness of
3.5 on the Mohs scale. It was discovered
in Nova Scotia. It is seldom found in crystal form. Frequently Howlite is dyed
and sold as turquoise. In its natural form, Howlite is white with grey to black
veins.
Howlite is known to still the mind, relieves stress, and
calms. As a result, it is excellent for
sleep. Howlite encourages patience.
It is the attunement stone & is linked to the spiritual
dimensions. It opens us to insights
& wisdom and is a perfect tool for meditation.
Howlite is said to help us become aware of our goals and
ambitions. It aids in achieving them.
Howlite is used in crystal healing for pain, and issues
related to our bones, among other things.
Howlite is associates with the crown chakra but also said to
balance all chakras.
It is also used as a scrying (seeing) crystal.
