Black Kyanite is typically a blade crystal which has a
hardness of 4.5 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale depending if tested parallel or across
the blade. Black Kyanite is not to be
confused with black tourmaline. Black
Kyanite is often found is a fan shape formation which assists in its
identification for the layman.
Black Kyanite has a high vibration and as a result is a
wonderful healing crystal used frequently by healers.
Black Kyanite is a perfect choice for work with clairvoyance
(clear vision), meditation, attunements, past life, karma, manifesting work and
the list goes on. This is one for
everyone’s toolbox.
Black Kyanite is also a grounding and protecting stone as
with most black minerals. Just as with
sage, Black Kyanite can be used for clearing.
Because of its strong clearing energies, it is not necessary to cleanse
Kyanite.
Kyanite works with all chakras and is suggested for use with
clearing the chakras. It is particularly
associated with the root chakra.
