Kyanite has a hardness of 3.5 to 7 depending on whether it
is cut on its long axis or not. It is normally blue in colour but can also be
green, grey or white. Kyanite’s colour
is generally blotchy and streaked.
Lapis Lazuli is comprised of lazurite (25% to 40%), calcite
and pyrite. It has a hardness of 5 to 5.5.
As they name suggests, Labradorite was discovered in
Labrador, Canada and has a hardness of 6 to 6.5. This stone has a wonderful
metallic reflective quality when light hits it specific ways and is known for
its lovely flashes of colour.
The key word for Kyanite could be “Balancing”. Its energies are known to invoke fairness and
loyalty. As a result, it is a great choice for repairing relationships,
contract negotiations, etc. Kyanite is
a perfect stone of choice for counselors, mediators and arbitrators. Kyanite is known to assist in speaking our
truth. Carry Kyanite if you are going to be doing any type of public speaking
or presentations. Kyanite is a tool used
for dream recall, vivid dreaming and channeling.
Lapis Lazuli harmonized the mental, physical, emotional and
spiritual. When these are not in balance, it is not unusual to experience
depression, lack of direction and disease. Lapis Lazuli is the stone of truth
and is a protective stone. It promotes inner truth, self-awareness, harmony and
is an excellent choice to assist in releasing stress and in finding peace. Lapis Lazuli is associated with good
judgement and wisdom including inner wisdom.
Labradorite assists us with our intuition and in opening up
to our guides. It calms the mind. Labradorite enhances our mental
abilities as well as our ability to open up to new ideas. This stone also assists
with dream recall. This is the stone of
transformation. Labradorite assists

Kyanite works to balance all of our chakras. . Lapis Lazuli opens the third eye. All three of these stones are associated with
or balances the throat chakra. We then
can speak our truths.
