ESSENTIAL OIL USE WITH JEWELLERY

This simple yet elegant necklace was created for the use of essential oils on the Lava as Lava stone acts as a wick. Similar to the varying energies of the healing crystals used in jewellery, essential oils have been used throughout history for their therapeutic benefits. Essential oils can also be used for their wonderful aromas as well.

Essential oils are highly concentrated and as a result a drop or two on the Lava Stone is all that is required.

Because of the location of the stone when it is being worn, an example of a perfect use would be essential oils for nasal congestion as a result of allergies, a cold or flu. Combine Cedar, peppermint, grapefruit and lemon (my favorite for sinus congestion) and add a couple of drops to your Lava Stone. 

You can combine oils or use just one for effects of peace, calm, energy, sleep, uplifting and the list goes on. The more you get to know the oils and how you react to them, the more experimental you can be with your combinations. You can add a different essential oil each day to the Lava stone depending on your needs and preferences. 

Essential oils can have affects on our bodies, minds and emotions.

This statement set consists of Agate which is a Chalcedony mineral with a hardness of 7, Amethyst which is a member of the quartz family and also has a hardness of 7 and Rhodonite which is a pyroxenoid mineral with a hardness of 5.5 to 6.

Agate and Amethyst are known for their abilities to help us relieve anxiety and stress

Copper has a hardness of 2.5 to 3 and it is the second best conductor of electricity after silver.

Because Copper is an excellent conductor, it is a perfect choice to transfer and amplify energy for healers.

A pearl is a growth formed within the shell of a pearl oyster or other types of mollusk.   It is one of the most ancient of gemstones.

In Astrology, it is said that we should wear jewellery made of pearls to assist with a misaligned moon (if in your chart). By doing so, it is said that love with be enhanced and trust with spouse or partner will be built.  Pearls have been referred to as the teardrops of the Moon.

This stone has a wonderful metallic reflective quality when light hits it specific ways and is known for its lovely flashes of colour. Labradorite has been associated with or compared to the aurora borealis. The pieces in our example today reflect wonderful green/blue flashes.
