Aventurine comes from the Quartz / Chalcedony family containing small flakes or scales that give it a glistening effect. The inclusions are usually Muscovite mica, but can be Hematite or Goethite. Yellow Aventurine can contain Pyrite. Aventurine has a hardness of 6.5 to 7. Commonly, Aventurine comes in many varying shades of green but can be blue, yellow, orange, brown and grey.
Aventurine in general is associated with
abundance, opportunity and luck.
Yellow Aventurine is used for focusing,
manifesting and setting intensions. It
is suggested to be the stone of choice for those experiencing power struggles
and who battle with assertiveness.
Yellow Aventurine is an emotion stone.
Aventurine is associated with the solar
plexus chakra.
