Unakite is from the granite family. The green mineral in Unakite is epidote with
a hardness of 6 to 7 on the Mohs scale and the pink/orange mineral is orthoclase
with a hardness of 6. Unakite also
consists of clear Quartz. According to
geology.com Unakite can also contain apatite, chromite, ilmenite, magnetite,
zircon, along with other minerals.
Unakite is a stone used for visualization,
psychic visions, meditation, psychic work and casting.
It brings awareness to issues from the past
so that we can deal with our blockages. Unakite is also used for past life
healing. It is said that Unakite can
assist us in finding the root cause of disease resulting from recent or distant
past issues.
