Snow quartz, also known as White Quartz and Milky Quartz, has
a hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale. It gets
its milky opaque colour from microscopic inclusions in the quartz.
Snow quartz is considered a feminine stone and is known for
its purification and soothing qualities.
It is said that Snow Quartz can give us the vision of a
child so that we can see, without contamination, learned habits and
conditioning.
Snow quartz is a valuable mediation crystal.
Physically, among other uses, Snow quartz is said to be used
to sooth menopause symptoms.
This variety of quartz is associated with the crown chakra.
