We have created a peace pendant from upcycling an antique
fork. This symbol of peace has been adorn with white
jade
Pure Jade is Nephrite and/or Jadeite but
there are many minerals that claim to be Jade which are not. Jadeite has
a hardness of 6.5 to 7 and Nephrite is slightly softer. Jade though known
of its many shades of green (which is caused by iron) can come is a variety
of colours including green, white, orange, yellow, lavender, grey and
black.
Jade is known as the dream stone and is said to bless
everyone it touches. It offers peace through strength and a sense of
calm. It is also known as the protection stone. It is a stone of
good fortune and prosperity.
Jade is said to offer good luck and friendship.
Physically, it is a healing stone and a talisman for those
who heal.
Jade is connected to the heart chakra.
