BALTIC AMBER

Our very popular Baltic Amber is a fossilized tree resin that is used similarly to any other crystal, mineral or stone in jewellery creations.  Its hardness ranges from 2 to 2.5. 

When amber is worn against the skin, the nugget or bead is naturally warmed by our body and the bead releases small amounts of healing oils (succinic acid). The oils are absorbed through the skin into the bloodstream and boost the immune system, reduce inflammation and are an analgesic used for pain. Baltic Amber also assists with varicose vein and increases blood circulation.

Baltic Amber is well known for its healing energies and is ideal for teething toddlers.  Did you know that in ancient times, Baltic Amber was worn by children for their protection.

Metaphysically, Baltic Amber is associated with desire, sensuality and romantic tenderness.   It is said that it was used to find lasting love.
