As they name suggests, Labradorite was discovered in
Labrador, Canada. It has a hardness of 6 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale.
This stone has a wonderful metallic reflective quality when
light hits it specific ways and is known for its lovely flashes of colour. Labradorite
has been associated with or compared to the aurora borealis. The pieces in our
example today reflect wonderful blue tones.
We have accented the focal Labradorite with clear Crystal
Quartz above and Labrdorite chips below.
Labradorite enhances our intuitive and mental abilities as
well as our ability to open up to new ideas. This stone assists with dream
recall.
This is the stone of transformation.
