Angelite is a blue/grey variety of Anhydrite which was
discovered in Peru in the 1980’s. Angelite has a hardness of 3 to 3.5 on the Mohs scale which
makes it popular for carving.
Angelite is a higher vibration crystal and is a perfect
stone for use in meditation, work with akashic records, visualization and
telepathy, astral travel, etc. It has a connection with our spirit guides and
our higher self; thus the name (angelic communications). It enhances our
psychic and astrological connections as well.
Angelite’s energies have also been associated with assisting
in feeling calm and at ease. This is an excellent stone when working with anger
and fear issues.
Angelite is associated with the throat, third eye and crown
chakras.
