We were commissioned to create a specific pendant the base
of which was to be a key. The seven
chakras were to be represented but all chakras were to be represented by
Amethysts. The pendant was to be
completed with a copper chain to conduct the energies of the Amethyst.
Amethyst is one of the most popular of the healing stones and
is considered the master healer.
Amethyst is a stone associated with sincerity, protection
and purification. It is a calming stone.
Amethyst's energies are also associated with the psychic realm.
Amethyst comes from the Greek word methustos which can be
translated as intoxicated. This stone has been used for centuries in
association with sobriety and is also used for other addictions. It is said that Amethyst assists with the
elimination of cravings.
In healing, Amethyst is not only used on those being healed
but also is worn by the healer as its energies heal the healer.
Physically, Amethyst is said to assist with headaches as
well as assists and stimulates the immune system.
Amethyst is associates with both the crown chakra and the
third eye chakra. .
Amethyst is from the quartz family and has a hardness of 7.
