Tiger’s eye is a type of quartz (chalcedony) with a hardness
of 7 and ranges from golden to red brown. Most tiger’s eye stones are natural;
however, some of the more red coloured stones may have been enhanced through
dying. Blue Tiger’s Eye is also known as Hawks Eye and is more of a blue gray
in colour. There can be other inclusions in Tiger’s Eye such as hematite which
will cause colour variations.
African Turquoise is not a true turquoise but is teal Jasper
mined in Africa. It has the same structure and colour tones as turquoise and
has a hardness of 6.5 to 7. African Turquoise can range in colour from emerald
green to teal blue. The word “Turquoise” is derived from French and is
translated as “Turkish Stone”.
Tiger's eye promotes harmony and balance (especially
mentally) without interference from emotions. It assists with perceptions, understanding,
wisdom and to eliminate illusions.

Physically, Tiger's eye is associates with bone repair and
releasing toxins.
