Tiger’s eye is a type of quartz (chalcedony) with a hardness of 7 and ranges from golden to red brown. Most tiger’s eye stones are natural; however, some of the more red coloured stones may have been enhanced through dying. Blue Tiger’s Eye is also known as Hawks Eye and are more of a blue gray in colour. There can be other inclusions in Tiger’s Eye such as hematite which will cause colour variations.
Tiger's eye promotes harmony and balance (especially mentally) without interference from emotions. It assists us with our perceptions and with understanding and wisdom. It assists to eliminates illusions. Tiger's eye is a perfect stone for students especially during tests and examines.
Physically, Tiger's eye is associates with bone repair and releasing toxins.
Tiger's eye has been used as a talisman and is said to attract abundance.
This crystal is associated with the Sacral (2nd) and Solar Plexus (3rd) chakras.
