Labradorite is from the feldspar family and has a hardness
of 6 to 6.5 and as the name suggested it was first discovered in Labrador,
Canada.
Labradorite is the stone of new beginnings and
transformation. It is connection with transformation and personal growth.
Labradorite enhances our intuitive and mental abilities as
well as our ability to open to new ideas and our creative abilities.
Labradorite assists those that use their hands for healing
and helps with dream recall.
Labradorite is known for its lovely flashes of colour under
light and in history has been associated with the aurora borealis. These
particular stones have wonderful blue flashes when hit by direct light.
Labradorite is associates with the throat chakra.
