Tourmalinated Quartz has a hardness of 7 to 7.5. This type of Quartz is
embedded with green or black tourmaline needles or threads.
Tourmalated or Tourmalinated quartz has the properties of both quartz and tourmaline. As always, the quartz crystal will amplify the energies of whatever stone it is with and this case, it has grown with the Tourmaline and amplifies its energy.
