BALTIC AMBER

Baltic Amber is a fossilized tree resin from ancient forests that were located in the Baltics. The amber is approximately 44 million years old.

Baltic Amber is used as any other crystal or stone in jewellery.

When this amber is worn against the skin, it is warmed which releases small amounts of healing oils (succinic acid) which is absorbed through the skin into the bloodstream.

Baltic Amber boosts the immune system, reduces inflammation and is an analgesic used for teething, headaches and pain. Baltic Amber assists with varicose vein and increases blood circulation.

Baltic Amber necklaces such as the one below are used with children when teething. These are meant to be worn against the skin and are not for chewing.

Amber cleanses all seven chakras.

WARNING:  Unfortunately many imitation amber nuggets are sold as genuine amber but usually the imitation pieces sold are much larger than the small natural amber nuggets and beads. It is not unusual for insects to be places in the imitation pieces.
