BLACK ONYX

Onyx is a form of chalcedony from the quartz family and has a hardness of 7.

Black Onyx is the stone of strength, both physically and emotionally. It has been used to aid concentration and to help us with self-discipline. Onyx is said to provide support and self-confidence. 

It is invaluable with past life work and helps to eliminate fear and worry.

Physically, Onyx balances the yin and yang energies within our bodies.

There is a set of stones that have been formulated in association with the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. Black Onyx can be used as the fourth step as part of the continuing to take inventory stage. 

Onyx is the sunstone of Leo and is associated with the root chakra.

Moonstone is a gemstone from the feldspar family with a hardness of 6 to 6.5.

This Mother & Child pendant creation has been adorned with Rainbow Moonstone which is the stone of intuition and emotion. It highlights feminine energies and assists in soothing stress and stabilizing emotions.

It should be noted that you may need to remove Moonstone jewellery during the full moon cycle as your emotions can become overwhelming with the stone.

LODOLITE

The five sided star originated in Greece and Babylon. This symbol has been/is used by Wicca, Christians, Jews, Pagans, Freemasons, Serer, Druze etc. With so many varying people that use it, the meanings also vary. It can symbolize the five elements, truth, the five elements of man, the pure archetypal forces, the five wounds of Christ and the list goes on. 

Crystal quartz with inclusions, also known as Lodolite or Lodalite, has a 7 in hardness. 

Lodolite is used for emotional healing and to release us from our past.  It is said that if we were to meditation with Lodolite we receive guidance from spirit.  Lodolite is a journeying stone and is not limited to journeys of the earthly variety.

Lodolite carries the energies of Crystal Quartz as well as the energies of the inclusions.  Crystal Quartz is an amplifier which amplifies the white energy of our higher self. It is said to assist us in achieving clarity in our communication abilities as well as our own personal thoughts.

Fluorite has a hardness of 4 and can range in colour from clear to black. The most popular is purple and then green.

Coral is a skeletal structure which is slowly built by small marine animals. Coral is between 3 and 4 in hardness. Natural coral is generally the colour of Carnelian but most coral used in jewellery has been dyed to enhance the colour. 

Coral is said to aid in meditation, visualization and creativity. As a result, it is a suggested crystal for artists. 

Coral attracts love, passion and prosperity. It also helps us to become balanced and in harmony with nature. 

Physically, Coral is said to assist with circulation and blood issues as well as regeneration.

Aragonite is a calcium carbonate which is very similar to Calcite.  Aragonite can range in colour from colourless to white, brown, grey, yellow red, pink, orange, purple green and blue.  Aragonite has a hardness of 3.5 to 4.

Aragonite reduces anger and stress. It is said to increases energy, boost self-confidence and feelings of self-worth. 

Aragonite has been used to help chronic fatigue and hair loss.

Garnet can range in many colours, not just red. The hardness varies from 6.5 to 7.5, with the softer garnets being green in colour. 

There are basically two groups of Garnet – those containing aluminum (Pyrope, Almandine, and Spessartine) and those containing calcium (Uvarovite, Grossular, and Andradite). The aluminum members can be found blended and the calcium members can be blended but the aluminum and calcium groups are seldom found blended together.

Garnet is an ancient talisman and was used by many civilizations.

There are varying types of garnet which we have simplified below. Each garnet type has its own specific energies, however, we are going to list those that are general to all types of garnet.

Garnet is a regenerative and energizing stone. Its energies are lucky for love, push for success and for goals.

Garnet is said to reduce toxins in the body and purifies the blood.

CELESTITE OR CELESTINE

Celestite (also known as Celestine) has a hardness of 3 to 3.5. It ranges in colour from clear, blue, orange, light brown, and green/blue. Please note that Celestite will fade if kept continually in sunlight.

Celestite is known as the Angel or angelic stone and is said to connect us to divine energy.

Angelic guidance and wisdom is said to be invited when praying or meditating with Celestite.  Celestite is used to assist in asto travel. This is a perfect tool for developing physic abilities.
