GARNET TREE OF LIFE

Garnet can range in many colours, not just red. The hardness varies from 6.5 to 7.5, with the softer garnets being green in colour. 

There are basically two groups of Garnet – those containing aluminum (Pyrope, Almandine, and Spessartine) and those containing calcium (Uvarovite, Grossular, and Andradite). The aluminum members can be found blended and the calcium members can be blended but the aluminum and calcium groups are seldom found blended together.

Garnet is an ancient talisman and was used by many civilizations.

There are varying types of garnet which we have simplified below. Each garnet type has its own specific energies, however, we are going to list those that are general to all types of garnet.

Garnet is a regenerative and energizing stone. Its energies are lucky for love, push for success and for goals.

Garnet is said to reduce toxins in the body and purifies the blood.
