Agate, which is from the quartz family, has a hardness of 6.5 to 7 and comes in a variety of colours and bands.   Our featured agate today is called “Black Agate”.

Black Agate is a stone said to assist us in dealing with stress and to remain calm. This provides inner strength and emphasizes courage.  It could be called the worry stone.

As with most black stones and minerals, Black Agate is a grounding tool and is associated with our root chakra.

Black Agate is also associated with fertility and the reproductive organs. It is a perfect energy choice for pregnancy and menopause. 

The moon which represents our emotions is an ideal charm to accompany the black agate which all have been placed on the circular pendant representing emotional cycles and energy.  The Lunar charm could be replaced with a fertility goddess to focus on the fertility energies or any other charm of choice.

This set has been created with AA Black Crystal, Lava and Wood beads.

Glass Crystals are not natural crystals but are lead crystal glass which are manmade; the most famous maker being Swarovski in Austria.   Lava stone is also known as Volcanic rock or Basalt and has a hardness of 3 to 3.5.  The final beads are made from natural wood. 

Glass Crystal brings positive energy, hope, joy and good luck.. It is said that they diffuses negative energy. These crystals carry energies of transformation & rebirth. 

Lava is used for strength, courage, protection & to ground.

Trees (wood) are a symbol of the interconnectedness of life.  Wood, just as lava, also grounds.

Both the Lava and Wooden beads are an excellent wick for essential oils.

Hematite is an iron oxide with trace amounts of titanium.  It is a myth that Hematite is magnetic on its own.  Hematite is only magnetic if it contains enough magnetite to attract it to a magnet.   

Hematite is grounding, enhances expansion and is protective. It is associated with peace and harmony. Hematite harmonizes the spirit, mind and body.

CLEAR QUARTZ POINT WITH TRIGGER CRYSTALS

Clear Crystal quartz is a 7 in hardness and is the most common stone found on our planet. Sculptured by nature, no two points are the same.

Quartz Crystal is known as the power stone. It enhances clarity and is high energy.  The smaller crystals that are growing with the larger, older crystal are called trigger crystals.  With energy work, these triggers crystals are said to accentuate the energies of the larger crystal so there is an amplification of healing energies.

Clear Quartz in itself is an amplifier which intensifies the white energy of our higher self. It is said to assist us in achieving clarity in our communication abilities as well as our own personal thoughts.

This little leather turtle not only came to me broken but it was alone as its partner earring had been lost.  In the spirit of today’s fashion, the turtle accepted being alone and we created another earring to compliment it.  The new partner is adorned with bone beads, wood and of course beads made from tortoise shell.

These new partners would enjoy handing out with our bear claw/wolf necklace featured yesterday.

OMBRE EARRINGS

Our featured Ombre Earrings consist of Howlite, Tourmalated or Tourmalinated quartz, and snowflake obsidian.  A similar pendant could also be made to accompany this style of earring.

Briefly, Howlite is known as the calming stone and is an excellent choice for stress relief. It is the attunement stone & is linked to spiritual dimensions. It opens us to insights & wisdom and is a perfect tool for meditation.

Howlite is used in crystal healing for pain, and issues related to our bones, among other things.

The 7 point star is known as the Septegram, Elven Star, Faerie Star or Heptagram. 

With Kabbalah, this star represents Venus & love. In Christianity, it represents the 7 days of creation and is a symbol to ward off evil & is the perfection or God. 

It is a symbol of the original known planets in Astrology being the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter & Saturn. 

It represents the 7 sacred directions: North, East, South, West, Above, Below & Center. 

Each point can represent the 7 rays of light, & with this in mind, we have created the Faerie Star associated with our chakra centres to create the Chakra Faerie Star.

The stones includes in the pendant are coral, carnelian, yellow jade, green jade, howlite, sodalite and amethyst.
