This beautiful raw Baltic Amber has been supported with stainless steel chains to create a pendant.
Baltic Amber is a fossilized tree resin with
a hardness ranging from 2 to 2.5 on the Mohs scale.
When Amber is worn against the skin, the nugget or bead is naturally warmed by our body and a small amounts of healing oils (succinic acid) is released and absorbed through the skin into the bloodstream. Succinic acid is known to boost the immune system, reduce inflammation and is used as an analgesic for pain. Baltic Amber is noted as assisting with varicose vein and increasing blood circulation.
Metaphysically, Baltic Amber is associated with desire, sensuality and romantic tenderness. It is said that it was used to find lasting love.
