ROSE QUARTZ WITH CLEAR QUARTZ ACCENTS

Rose quartz as suggested by its name is a member of the Quartz family and has a hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale.  The colour is usually muted but occasionally can be found as a vivid pink. Rose quartz is generally not treated.

Shungite is a black and lustrous mineraloid with a hardness of 3.5 to 4 on the Mohs scale.

 

Shungite is the go-to stone for EMF (electromagnetic field) protection.

 

Shungite has long been used as a purifier for water.

HEMIMORPHITE

Hemimorphite, one of two minerals formerly called calamine, has a hardness of 4.5 to 5 on the Mohs scale. Hemimorphite in its purest form is white or colourless but due to impurities of copper and iron it can also be green, blue or grey. 

 

Blue hemimorphite can resemble both larimar and/or turquoise.

 

Hemimorphite is said to enhance self-esteem and self-respect and to separate ourselves from ego.

 

It has been used to communicate our emotions and our inner feelings.

 

Metaphysically Hemimorphite is used to develop spirituality, psychic visions and intuition.
