A marriage is a transformation in many ways. It is a union of two parts divisible yet
one. It is a fusion of the old
transforming into a single new way of life.
Our highlights piece today is very symbolic. We have transformed a lovely silver fork into
a wearable symbol of marriage.
The tines of the fork have been forged and transformed into
a heart, the universal symbol of love.
The handle of the fork is a rose, unchanged from its origin
and another symbol of love. The handle
is one yet divides and comes back together symbolizing the unity of the two but
not the loss of the individual parts that make the whole.
We have added pearls the stone of choice for brides due to
their association with partnerships and love.
Silver is the metal of emotions and is associated with the
Moon also known for its connection to our emotions. As with the Moon, Silver reflects the
light. It is the mirror to the soul. It is said that Silver also acts as a shield
reflecting negative emotions away from the wearer.
