Agate, which is from the quartz family, has a hardness of
6.5 to 7 and comes in a variety of colours and bands. Our featured agate today is “Black Agate”.
Black Agate is a stone said to assist us in dealing with
stress and to help us remain calm. This provides inner strength and emphasizes
courage. It could be called the worry
stone.
As with most black stones and minerals, Black Agate is a
grounding tool and is associated with our root chakra.
Black Agate is also associated with fertility and the
reproductive organs. It is a perfect energy choice for pregnancy and
menopause.
The moon which represents our emotions was an ideal choice to
accompany the black agate.
The circular design of the pendant represents emotional
cycles and energy.
The Lunar charm could be replaced with another charm such as
a fertility goddess for example to focus on the fertility energies. The choices are endless.
