Today, we are highlighting a feminine (smaller slip on) version of our Sandalwood, Lava & Tibetan Dzi Bracelet.

The centre bead is the Tibetan Dzi Agate Bead (sometimes called Tibetan Onyx) is said to have positive spiritual benefits.   Sandalwood is cultivated from the wood of a tree in Indian. Lava stone is also known as Volcanic rock or Basalt and has a hardness of 3 to 3.5.

Sandalwood is a sacred wood and frequently is used in Mala beads (prayer beads).   It is known for its scent and is frequently used for incense. It is known for its protective energies and when worn, it is said to assist with anxiety, stress and depression. It promotes spiritual awareness and is an excellent meditation tool.

Lava is known to bring strength and courage to those that wear it. It is said that the energies of Lava help to curb anger. As with other black stones, Lava stone is grounding and offers protection. It is a high energy stone. 

Essential oils can be added to both the Sandalwood and the Lava stone as they act as wicks.

Sandalwood and Lava Stone are both associated with the Root Chakra and the Tibetan Dzi Agate is said to stimulate the Crown Chakra.

Baltic Amber is a fossilized tree resin but it is used in jewellery as any other crystal, mineral or stone.

When amber is worn against the skin, the nugget or bead is warmed and releases small amounts of healing oils (succinic acid). According to Gem Select, Onyx is black and white banded agate (cryptocrystalline or chalcedony quartz). Niccolo onyx, which has a very thin upper layer, allowing the black base colour to show through as grey or blue. Onyx has a hardness of 6.5 to 7.

Blue Onyx has been used in rosaries for centuries. 

Blue Onyx is said to releases stress, anxiety, worry and grief. It carries a soothing and healing energy and assists us with clear communication.

Aventurine comes from the Quartz / Chalcedony family containing small flakes or scales that give it a glistening effect. The inclusions are usually Muscovite mica, but can be Hematite or Goethite. Aventurine has a hardness of 6.5 to 7. Commonly, Aventurine comes in many varying shades of green but rarely can be found in the colours orange, brown and grey.

Aventurine is associated with abundance, opportunity and luck.
