Abalone is a calcium carbonate base and is known for its colourful inner shell.  Abalone is a common name for a group of small to very large sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks from the Haliotidae family.

Abalone is known to enhance our feeling of peace, compassion, and love.  The energies of Abalone are calming and soothing.   This bracelet has been adorn with a moon phase charm as the moon represents our emotions.

CITRINE AND AMBER

Citrine (the yellow stones) is the "success" stone and is known for abundance. It is also associated with happiness and is said to increase and clarify personal power and energy.

Citrine is used to removing toxins and is helpful with overcoming addictions.

Citrine is connected to the Solar Plexus chakra.

Amber (the four darker beads), when warmed, releases small amounts of healing oils (succinic acid) which are absorbed through the skin.  These oils boost the immune system, reduce inflammation and are an analgesic used for pain. Baltic Amber also assists with varicose vein and increases blood circulation.

Moonstone is a gemstone from the feldspar family with a hardness of 6 to 6.5.

Citrine has a hardness of 7 and is from the quartz family.

The colour of citrine can vary from light pale yellow to a light orange-yellow. Most citrine on the market is heated amethyst which may have been treated naturally by mother nature or may have been treated by man. Heated Amethyst, sold as citrine, can range in colour from dark yellow to a dark red-yellow. Smokey quartz can also be treated to turn yellow.  According to minerals.net all heat treated “citrine” has a red tint. Some very light natural Citrine is also sold under the name of “Lemon Quartz”.

Citrine’s energies are associated with abundance.  Citrine is known as the success stone and is associated with happiness.

Citrine increases and clarifies personal power and energy.

APOPHYLLITE

Apophyllite is the general name for the grouping of three sub classifications - Fluorapophyllite, Hydroxyapophyllite and Natroapophyllite. Apophyllite has a hardness of 4.5 to 5. Apophyllite usually comes in the pyramid form but double terminated.

Apophyllite is said to carry the Akashic Record and is a powerful vibration transmitter.

Apophyllite is a must with Reiki healing.

Apophyllite is a wonderful crystal for the third eye and Crown Chakras as it is predominantly a spiritual crystal.

It is said that Apophyllite will assist with fatigue and stress.

BLACK AGATE

Agate has a hardness of 6.5 to 7.  It comes in a wide variety of colours and is banded.  Agate is a Chalcedony mineral, which is a microcrystalline variety of the Quartz family.

Black Agate which is used in this pendant is a stone said to assist us in dealing with stress.  It helps us to remain calm which can provide inner strength and emphasize courage.

As with most black stones and minerals, Black Agate is a grounding tool and is associated with our root chakra.

Black Agate is associated with fertility and the reproductive organs.  It is a perfect choice for pregnancy and menopause.

Tourmaline is a complex silicate with a hardness of 7 to 7.5   It comes in a variety of colours from clear, pink, green, grey, black, etc. 

Watermelon Tourmaline seen here (even though the greens are not very apparent) is a balancing stone.   It promotes harmony.  Watermelon Tourmaline brings the mind, body and soul together and is a healing stone.

Watermelon Tourmaline has excellent energies to help us to learning to deal with depression and to heal personal emotional wounds.  It helps us to get out of our heads and into our hearts.

Although the energies are slow, the effects are lasting.
