Chrysocolla or Chrysacolla is a beautiful blue/green stone with a hardness of 2 to 4 on the Mohs scale. More often than note, Chrysocolla beads are enhanced with dye but the nuggets are generally natural in colour. The natural colour, however, can certainly vary with Chrysocolla.
Chrysocolla is known as a peace and harmony
stone. Its energies are gentle and are used to assist in clarity and using
discretion when making important and on the spot stressful decisions.
Metaphysically it is used to purify an area
(room) or to assist an individual in releasing negativity. It is said to assist
those that carry nervous energy.
Physically, Chrysocolla is used for stress
headaches, arthritis, muscle spasms and cramps.
Chrysocolla works with all of our chakras. In particular, it heals the heart chakra and
allows honesty yet gentleness with the throat chakra.
