This is a specially commissioned necklace in honour of Danish heritage.  It includes a twenty-five øre coin (Danish krone) and a charm representing the famous “The Little Mermaid” which was sculptured by Edvard Eriksen and has graced the waterfront of Copenhagen since 1913.  The entire necklace has been created in copper (both natural and patina). 

Copper is well recognized for its healing properties especially with fighting infections. Copper is an antioxidant, and it improves the production of hemoglobin, myelin, collagen, melanin and the list goes on.

Bloodstone is a Heliotrope which is a variety of Jasper and has a 7 in hardness.

Jasper, as a whole, in ancient times was worn by shamans and kings as it is a powerful protection stone and helps to ground.
